On December 30th we took a trip to the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka, Japan. We saw some pretty awesome sights, like Jogasaki, Mt. Omuro (complete with a paraglider flying around), and the Pacific sunrise.
All of it was so beautiful and amazing, but nothing was quite as extraordinary as the Mexican/Italian fusion restaurant in the middle of a small town in Shizuoka. The pizza had a salsa and nachos twist, mixed with the Italian neapolitan style we all know and love. Needless to say, it was delicious.
Anyways, I thought I would share this unexpected experience on our travels through the seaside mountains of Japan. Let us know if you have ever visited a restaurant like this. One that stuck out like a sore thumb in the most random of places. :)
